PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim get official Australian pricing

Have you, like us, spent most of the day creating a mental rolodex of belongings you’ll need to sell to afford a PS4 Pro and a 4K HDR TV? This should help make those calculations a little easier.

If you’re looking to pick up a PS4 Pro on launch here in Australia, you’re going to be looking at an RRP of AU$559.99 It will launch day-and-date with its overseas counterparts on November 10. Might to time to trade in that launch model.

As for the PS4 Slim, which is technologically unchanged from the launch model beyond a 34% reduction in power consumption (a definite and very pleasant bonus), you’ll be looking at AU$439.95 for the 500GB version when it launches on September 16 or AU$509.95 for the 1TB version a few weeks later on September 29.

Start saving those pennies, brothers and sisters. It’s going to be an expensive Christmas this year.
