Pilot episode of The CheckPoint Series is live, watch it now

The pilot episode of The Checkpoint Series, first in a season of 20 or so, has made its debut on YouTube this week. Created by the Australian non-profit CheckPoint, the series looks to educate viewers on numerous issues surrounding mental health through the lens of video games.

Episode One, hosted by CheckPoint founder and practicing psychiatric doctor Dr. Jennifer Hazel, provides a broad overview of the potential causes of mental health issues, how they can manifest from person to person and the steps you can take to manage your mental health, all using simple terms related to gaming. It also includes interviews with a number of extremely good human beings like BioShock Infinite‘s Ken Levine, Bethesda Australia’s Kelsey Gamble and NITV and Gizmodo Australia’s Rae Johnston.
