It’s getting closer once again, as PAX Aus 2025 ramps up the hype for its massive weekend at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from Friday, the 10th of October to Sunday, the 12th of October, 2025.
While tabletop games have always been a major part of the weekend, PAX Aus 2025 has announced a range of new games and franchises launching at the Tabletop Hall this year.
We’ve rounded up all the additions below, so be sure to keep an eye out and stop by if you’re attending this year.
Warhammer Fantasy and 40K will land for the first time
Games Workshop is bringing Warhammer to the show floor, giving you the chance to play your preferred version, along with learn-to-play and miniature painting sessions.
eBay Presents: Magic: The Gathering live at the PAX Arena
Along with games all weekend, the presenting partner of Tabletop Hall, eBay, will be hosting a live Magic: The Gathering event on Friday night, with special guests, food, drinks, and limited edition prizes up for grabs.
Magic: The Gathering will also show off the new Spider-Man set
The new Marvel’s Spider-Man set will be available at PAX Aus 2025. You can even head to the Magic Play Area for a free welcome deck and beginner demonstrations.
Cryptids Unleashed: MetaZoo TCG will make its PAX debut
From Bigfoot to the legendary Aussie Drop Bear, attendees will get the chance to chat to the MetaZoo team and learn the ropes of this new TCG.
Bandai Card Games will feature some huge anime franchises
One Piece, Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World, Digimon Card Game and the brand new, highly-anticipated Gundam Card Game will all be on offer.
VR Distribution will show off some major licenses
Attendees will be able to play a range of games from The Witcher, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Lilo & Stitch, CATAN, LEGO, and more!
Board games are back in full force
Check out all the new releases from Dungeons and Dragons, Stonemaier Games, Good Games Publishing, Keymaster Games, Chaosium and more!
Disney Lorcana and Ravensburger make their return
Disney Lorcana is back by popular demand, with learn-to-play and on-demand sessions.
The expanded Ravensburger area will also feature new puzzles, board games and exclusive promos.
