PAX Aus 2016 tickets go on sale Tuesday, December 8

The PAX Australia expo will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre next year and early birds to ensure they get a spot starting this Tuesday. Tickets for the 2016 show go on sale 10am AEDT, December 8.

The news comes from the official PAX Australia Facebook page and event organiser Guy “Yug” Blomberg who revealed the updated logo and key art for the convention (pictured) only yesterday.

The post was quickly followed by another that stated anyone who purchases tickets for the show prior to December 24 2015 will get their tickets at a (slightly) discounted rate. Three Day passes will run you $150, while Single Day Passes will set you back $55 a pop.

To be clear, these early bird prices are only ten and five dollars cheaper than the face value of last year’s prices, leading some commenters to already speculate about a price hike for the 2016 event.

No dates for the 2016 convention have been confirmed as yet. Many attendees to this year’s convention found its overlapping with Melbourne’s Spring Carnival caused major headaches when trying to find available and affordable accommodation.
