New Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer dropping this Thursday night

It’s good to know that Rockstar can bring us to our knees with a two paragraph, 55-word press release. The latest trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 arrives this Thursday but you’ll need to be up past your bedtime if you want to see it the moment it drops.

The trailer is set to drop at 1AM AEST on Thursday, May 3 (that’s 11PM on Wednesday if you’re in WA so get ready to stay up a bit later than usual if you live on the East Coast.

The last we heard about Red Dead Redemption 2 was back in February when Rockstar announced the game would miss its Q2 2018 release date for a new launch in October. Launching in Q2 would have put the game’s release somewhere about now. Could this trailer drop be a quiet commemoration of that old launch date? Only Rockstar knows. We’ll see a bit more of what they’re thinking on Thursday.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26, 2018.
