Gearbox’s Battleborn has been delayed into May 2016

Gearbox’s forthcoming MOBA-inspired shooter Battleborn will miss it’s February 9 release date, slipping to May 3, according to publisher 2K Games.

2K Games had originally announced the February release date back in August. The delay means Battleborn will now release outside this fiscal year for Take-Two Interactive, who own 2K Games and whose fiscal year wraps up at the end of March.

Battleborn is currently running a closed technical test if you’d like to try the game out early and you can sign up here. Be aware, though, that the test ends on November 9 (that’s this Monday) so get stuck in this weekend if you can.

Battleborn will now release May 3, 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
