Gamescom 2015: Xbox One controllers finally get a chatpad in November

Microsoft have answered the pleas of many a fan at their Gamescom 2015 press event today with the reveal of a proper chatpad for the Xbox One controller. The chatpad drops this November and you can pre-order it right now.

The new chatpad features an audio jack, reminiscent of its Xbox 360 cousin. It also adds a number of welcome new features like audio controls and a pair of user-defined programmable keys. The chatpad will also be compatible with Windows 10. It will set you back US$34.99 but no Australian pricing has been announced as yet.
