Gamescom 2015: Homefront: The Revolution gets multiplayer beta this winter

Homefront: The Revolution popped up during the Xbox press conference at Gamescom 2015 with a brand new trailer and the news that it will be getting a multiplayer beta during the Australian summer.

Introduced by C.J. Kershner of Dambuster studios, Xbox One owners will get exclusive access to the beta this summer. He didn’t make it clear during his speech whether this was an exclusive or timed beta. He then gave a quick demo of the multiplayer mode which journalists can play on the show floor.

Homefront: The Revolution is the sequel to the forgettable 2011 shooter HomefrontHomefront: The Revolution is set for release in 2016.
