E3 will return in 2023 as an in-person event

After a three year hiatus, the world’s premiere celebration of all things gaming and interactive entertainment, E3, will be returning as an in-person event, and is set to take place in June, 2023. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) will also be partnering with ReedPop, the event production company behind PAX, New York Comic-Con and Star Wars Celebration.
As a result, E3 2023 will welcome back various developers, publishers, journalists and content creators for a one-of-a-kind experience, in addition to the in-person crowds that add a tangible atmosphere to major conferences and video game announcements.
Kyle Marsden-Kish, global VP of gaming at ReedPop, commented on the news, stating  “E3 2023 will be recognizably epic — a return to form that honors what’s always worked — while reshaping what didn’t.”
President and CEO of the ESA, Stanley Pierre-Louis added to the announcement, stating “We are thrilled to bring back E3 as an in-person event with ReedPop, a global leader in producing pop culture events. The past three years have confirmed that E3 convenes our industry like no other event. ReedPop brings world-class talent and a keen understanding of the video game industry, which will serve to enhance the E3 experience for years to come.”
We’ll be sure to cover additional news as it breaks. Be sure to check out the official E3 website to sign up for upcoming announcements.
