Disney Infinity 3.0 continues to dominate the toys-to-life genre in terms of big IP, leveraging excitement around the upcoming Captain Ameria: Civil War to drop its latest (and biggest) Marvel themed playset. The real star of the show, though, is that sweet Captain America figure.
According to the press release, Marvel Battlegrounds is “a four-player, arcade-style brawler that allows you to battle with up to three friends locally.” The playset will contain “12 levels across eight all-new arenas”, including fan favourite locations like Black Panther‘s Wakanda and Knowhere from Guardians of the Galaxy.
Better yet, you can also take any Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes figure and use it in this playset, which means you can use SO MANY CHARACTERS.
But, c’mon. How cool is that figure? Disney Infinity is known for the high quality of its figures and its current run of Star Wars characters for the 3.0 Edition have been stellar. This maskless Steve Rogers is no exception.
Disney Infinity 3.0 is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, iOS and Android. Marvel Battlegrounds releases March 15 and you can pre-order it now.
