December’s free games with PlayStation Plus include SSX and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

Sony looks to be rounding out a really strong year with more free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers, including SSXFar Cry 3: Blood Dragon and even King’s Quest.

The December line up is one of the few that doesn’t offer any cross-buy titles. Instead, subscribers will get six games – two for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita respectively.

PS4 players are getting King’s Quest: A Knight to Remember, which is the first episode of The Odd Gentlemen’s new King’s Quest reboot. Also on offer, Gauntlet: Slayer Edition from Arrowhead, which is a fantastic couch co-op brawler that we loved when we reviewed it earlier this year.

PS3 owners are getting a certified last-gen classic, snowboarding game SSX (which might help you to feel cooler with images of snowy mountainsides during the incoming summer months) and 80’s retro-fuelled shooter Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

For those happy few who own a Vita, you’re getting Japan Studio’s Freedom Wars and Ratloop’s Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken.

All six of these games will become available to PlayStation Plus subscribers starting next Tuesday, December 1, and will be free to donwload provided you have an active PlayStation Plus account.
