Call of Duty: Black Ops III‘s latest trailer barely resembles Call of Duty

You wouldn’t know it to look at it but we promise this is a trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Well, not until you hit about 3:08 at least. The trailer is spruiking the new Shadows of Evil survival co-op mode starring a bunch of hard boiled noir characters played by Ron Perlman, Jeff Goldblum, Neal McDonough and Heather Graham.

The mode apparently sees four especially wicked people hauled into a nightmare zombie universe to atone for their evil deeds. Each character has an attack of their own and I really hope Ron Perlman gets to smack people around with a Hellboy hand.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III launches November 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Publisher Activision have recently confirmed that the last-gen versions of the game will not include a single-player campaign.
