Balrog and Ibuki to arrive in Street Fighter V this week

Street Fighter V‘s next update is set to drop later this week, bringing series mainstays Balrog and Ibuki to the growing character roster.

The update’s trailer (embedded above) provides a look at the new fighters, as well as a peek at Juri and Urien, characters who will be added to the game in another update further down the line.

Balrog and Ibuki, both whom were last seen in Super Street Fighter IV, become the third and fourth characters to join Street Fighter V post-release. Ibuki was originally announced last month, but was ultimately delayed until this forthcoming update.

All four DLC characters can be unlocked through gameplay, however Capcom says the option to purchase them as premium DLC will arrive later in the year.

The game will eventually offer a total of six unlockable/DLC characters. For more on Street Fighter V, check out our review.
