It’s the week of Valentine’s Day, and if you are looking for the ultimate Valentine’s gift for the gamer in your life, Nintendo and Godiva have you covered with the launch of the Animal Crossing collection.
The collection features four collectible boxes that combine Godiva chocolate with Animal Crossing characters and items. The cute and charming collection is available for purchase in-store and online (and will most likely sell out VERY quickly!) The collection is based on the tea party theme, and the collectible tins make for a lasting memory on Valentine’s Day.
If you have a Godiva store near you, the in-store cafes have three special Animal Crossing menu items, including a Strawberry soft serve and two drinks: an apple Earl Grey crush and a peach tart chocolixir. The in-store items are wrapped in an Animal Crossing sleeve and reflect the flavours of island life. Make sure you act fast, as the in-store items and collection are only available from the 11th to the 15th of February.
The range is priced from A$21.90 to A $49.90 and features four beautiful collector tins that contain a varying amount of chocolates based on Animal Crossing characters and items, including Colton, Tia, Merengue, Raymond and of course Isabelle and Tom Nook. The items include the trademark Animal Crossing leaf logo and all feature signature flavours that are combined with Godiva’s signature chocolate.
Godiva Australia is the local branch of the Belgian premium chocolate brand that has been operating locally since 2017. The Belgian brand originated in Brussels in 1926 and now boasts over 100 stores globally. In Australia, there are stores in Canberra, Sydney, and Melbourne, with a focus on luxury chocolates, gifts, and their famous chocolixir drinks, created and served in the local store cafes.
The collaboration includes three collectible tins. First is the “Godiva meets Animal Crossing Gift Tin,” which contains six chocolates in a keepsake tin featuring our favourites, Tom Nook and Isabelle. Next is the “Godiva meets Animal Crossing Pink and Blue Assortment,” offering six chocolates in either a pink or blue container decorated with Animal Crossing characters. Rounding out the range is the “Godiva meets Animal Crossing Assortment,” which includes nine chocolates housed in a distinctive green, round tin.
The Animal Crossing x Godiva collection is available from February 11th to February 15th and is the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day.
