Literary magazine The Lifted Brow celebrates thirty issues

Quarterly magazine The Lifted Brow is nearing its tenth birthday, after thirty issues dedicated to showcasing young Australian literary and artistic talent. The 30th issue is both a milestone publication for the team, and also a swan song for editors Ellena Savage and Gillian Terzis, who have been with the magazine since its relaunch in 2015.

The issue, which will debut on June 11th with a launch party at Melbourne club Hugs&Kisses, includes:

  • Cover and feature artwork by Freda Chiu

  • Nonfiction from Dion Kagan, Jana Perkovic, Stephanie Van Schilt, Lauren Carroll Harris, Ben Law, Jenny Phang, Luke Carman, Fregmonto Stokes, Emily Meller, Elizabeth Bryer, Antonia Hayes, Iris Lee, Anezka Sero, Rebecca Jessen, Lee Kofman, Rosie Funder, Joshua Barnes and Rachel Hennessy

  • Fiction from Joy Williams, and Ryan O’Neill
