A Public Memorial Service for Jon English has been announced for fans to come and celebrate the life and work of the loved Australian singer, songwriter, musician and actor. After playing Judas Iscariot in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney in 1972, Jon won the hearts of the Australian public. From then on his name was known and his work admired by many.
The Public Memorial Service will be held on Monday 4 April, 2016 at the Capital Theatre, 13 Campbell Street, Haymarket, Sydney. All are welcome from 4.30pm for a 5pm start.
The family of Jon English invite members of the entertainment industry and fans to come and celebrate his life and work with tributes and performances in memory of Jon.
