Showcasing the sights, sounds, tastes, and spirit of West Africa, the African Rhythm & Roots Festival will take place on November 5th at the Addison Road Community Centre.

Kicking off at noon, the festival will feature performances from some of Australia’s most prominent West African musicians and dancers as well as a vibrant artisan market, and traditional food and beverages.

Award winning international Afro and Reggae artists  Afro Moses, Chris Gudu, King Tide and Keyim Ba also feature in the lineup.

“We are thrilled to be bringing back such a vibrant and unique cultural festival with a brand new look,” says Rachel Bangoura, Festival Director for organisers West African Festival Inc. “African Rhythm & Roots Festival celebrates the West African culture by demonstrating how many West Africans have integrated their music and dance into daily life in Australia.
