Geese announce 2027 Australian headline shows including Sydney Opera House Forecourt

Anyone who caught Geese at Laneway Festival earlier this year will be very excited to hear that the Brooklyn four-piece are heading back to Australia in February and March 2027. Their live performances are something special, and the chance to see them on their own headline tour, including a show at the iconic Sydney Opera House Forecourt, is an enticing prospect indeed.

Presented by Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents, the tour will also take in Brisbane’s On The Banks and Melbourne’s Palace Foreshore, before the band heads to Meredith for Golden Plains.

The last two years have been extraordinary for Geese. Their 2025 album Getting Killed took them to a whole new audience, earning widespread critical acclaim and introducing their unpredictable brand of rock to an increasingly devoted audience. Heading into Laneway this year, they were the one band that everyone seemed to be talking about.

Fronted by Cameron Winter, alongside guitarist Emily Green, bassist Dominic DiGesu and drummer Max Bassin, Geese make rock music that rarely settles into a predictable shape. Songs can lurch from loose, ramshackle grooves into sudden bursts of noise, often within the same few minutes, and Winter’s distinctive voice, brings it all together.

If you caught them at Laneway, you’ll already know why these shows are worth getting excited about. And if you missed them, here’s another chance to see one of the most compelling young rock bands around.
