After almost 3 years of dominating our ARIA charts, country sensation Zach Bryan has heard our plea and finally announced his first Australian headline tour.
The Young Manhood & Other Donatable Organs tour will visit Australia in December 2027, with tickets going on sale next week.
As Bryan has made his struggles with touring known, an Australian tour has always felt like a far-off dream. Bryan came to Australia for a sold-out show at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse in 2023, and fans have been begging him to return ever since.
This tour will see him play two massive nights at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, followed by another two at Sydney’s Accor Stadium and ending with two nights at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium. Joining him is beloved Aussie Vance Joy and American singer-songwriter Emma Ogier. The tour announcement comes just days after announcing an EP of the same name, set to be released Friday, October 16.
Having released four albums in the last four years, as well as standalone singles and his upcoming EP, Bryan has a hefty catalogue that he is yet to share with his Aussie fans. Known best for his songs such as “Something In The Orange”, “I Remember Everything”, and “Revival”, his knack for writing hard-hitting emotional ballads has stretched far beyond the country scene, so it’s hard to imagine tickets lasting long.
Bryan wrapped up his latest tour, With Heaven On Tour, just days ago. This relentless touring schedule is a surprise, given that he has previously spoken about stepping away from touring. This openness and emotion is a huge part of what makes Bryan such a great songwriter, though at times it’s also found him at the centre of controversy.
With two new studio albums, a live album and multiple singles released since his last whirlwind visit to Australia, not to mention an EP arriving tomorrow, Aussie fans are understandably over the moon with this morning’s announcement, crossing their fingers that next time he won’t stay away as long
Frontier Touring presale begins on Wednesday, 21 October, with general tickets on sale from Friday, 23 October. On-sale times are staggered by city, starting at 11am in Melbourne, 1pm in Sydney and 2pm in Brisbane (all local times).
