The Coffee Club launches Coffee Guarantee – and is giving away free coffee to prove it!

Free coffee is on offer at The Coffee Club this week (until the 21st June), with the Australian café chain inviting customers to bring in a takeaway cup from a competitor and swap it for a complimentary barista-made coffee.

The promotion celebrates the launch of The Coffee Club’s new Coffee Guarantee, a nationwide commitment that promises customers a replacement coffee free of charge if their order isn’t made exactly as requested. Available across more than 200 stores nationwide, including 90 locations throughout Queensland, the guarantee reflects the company’s confidence in both its coffee and the baristas behind every cup.

From alternative milks and extra-hot orders to flavoured syrups and cold brews, coffee customisation has become increasingly complex in recent years. The Coffee Club says its new initiative is designed to reassure customers that whatever their preference, their order will be made correctly – or remade at no additional cost.

To encourage coffee drinkers to put the promise to the test, anyone who brings in a takeaway coffee cup from another café until June 21st will receive a free coffee from The Coffee Club.

The chain’s coffee offering centres around Three Stories, a Melbourne-roasted specialty blend used across its network. Specialty coffee represents the highest recognised quality grading within the industry, and The Coffee Club says it has invested heavily in ensuring the product is matched by skilled preparation, training more than 1,200 baristas across Australia over the past two years.

Attention to detail extends to the way drinks are built. A standard 16oz coffee, for example, is served with three espresso shots, a ratio designed to maintain flavour balance and avoid dilution.

“Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do – and this guarantee backs that with action,” said Nikki Price, General Manager of Marketing & Product at The Coffee Club. “We’re proud enough of our barista-made specialty coffee to put a guarantee on every single cup.”

Price said the growing complexity of modern coffee orders was one of the driving forces behind the initiative.

“Coffee orders have never been more complex – alternative milks, cold brews, cold foams, creative flavours and more. That’s exciting, but it raises the bar on service,” she said. “Fixing a coffee on the spot, for free, no fuss – it’s how we want to build real trust and loyalty.”

The Coffee Guarantee is available now at all participating The Coffee Club locations across Australia.
