The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past expasnion announced

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt might be over 10 years old at this point, but that hasn’t stopped CD Projekt Red from announcing yet another expansion for the game, releasing sometime in 2027.

The standalone story will take place after the events of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, bringing us even closer to the events of The Witcher 4, which, at the time of writing, does not have an official release date.

The announcement actually came from a livestream celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of Blood and Wine, but we don’t really know much more than that, other than the fact that this will be developed alongside Polish game developer Fool’s Theory.

Songs of the Past is scheduled to launch sometime in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC.
