The lineup for the 25th anniversary of Austin City Limits Music Festival has been unveiled, and while the headliners are as stacked as ever, it’s the strength of the Australian contingent that stands out for 2026.
Set to take over Zilker Park across two weekends (October 2–4 and October 9–11), this year’s festival is led by a blockbuster top line including Charli xcx, Lorde, Skrillex, Kings of Leon and The xx — with RÜFÜS DU SOL firmly entrenched among the headline acts.
Australian artists shine
Leading the charge is RÜFÜS DU SOL, whose place atop the bill reflects a career that has long since moved beyond “breakthrough” territory into global mainstay status. (And, as a quick aside — we’re still waiting on a return to Australia’s own Sydney City Limits… one and done in 2018? Feels overdue.)
They’re joined by fellow internationals Parcels, whose sun-soaked grooves have made them festival favourites across Europe and North America, and Amyl and the Sniffers, bringing their high-octane punk energy to Austin.
Also flying the flag are rising acts Rum Jungle and Don West, both continuing to build international profiles and earning coveted slots on one of the world’s most influential festival stages. It’s particularly exciting to see these two acts work their way up to a major festival such as ACL.
A huge 25th anniversary lineup
Beyond the Australian representation, ACL’s 25th anniversary bill is packed with heavy hitters and emerging names alike. Alongside the headliners, the lineup features the likes of Turnstile, Labrinth, Lola Young, The Chainsmokers, Bleachers, SOFI TUKKER and The War on Drugs.
As always, the festival leans heavily into discovery, with a deep undercard of emerging artists and a strong showing of Latin talent, alongside a celebration of Texas’ homegrown scene.

With its blend of global headliners and rising talent — and a particularly strong Australian presence this year — the 2026 edition of Austin City Limits is shaping up to be one of its most exciting yet. With the demise of our own mega festivals – I’ve got to say, it’s very tempting indeed.
