Hooray! Xbox Game Pass has been treated to a nice little price drop globally, with new prices hitting as of April.
Here are the updated prices below:
-
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – Now A$25.95 per month (previously A$35.95 per month)
-
PC Game Pass – Now A$16.45 per month (previously A$19.45 per month)
-
Xbox Game Pass Premium – Remaining at A$17.95 per month
-
Xbox Game Pass Essential – Remaining at A$12.95 per month
While there are no changes to the current library of games, this does now mean that new Call of Duty titles will not be launching on the service, and instead dropping a year after their respective release dates.
On a new post via the the Xbox blog, new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma commented on the news, stating “Our players cover a wide breadth of geographies, preferences, and tastes, so while there isn’t a single model that’s best for everyone, this change responds to a lot of feedback we’ve gotten so far. We’ll continue to listen and learn.”
This is definitely a huge win for Xbox fans around the world, and one that we hope will help pave the road back to better times for Xbox.
