Excuse me.. Did someone call a Death Cab for Cutie?

Death Cab for Cutie

After a seven-year hiatus, the band who brought us songs likeCrooked Teeth, I Will Follow You into the Dark” and dark, indie, angsty “Transatlanticism”, are headed back to Aus. So, if like The O.C’s Seth Cohen, Death Cab for Cutie are your number one, it’s time to get excited!

Kicking off their US tour in July, DCfC will be playing all the hits as well as music from their new album, I Built You A Tower, due to be released early June. If you want a taster of what’s to come, check out single, “Riptides” a song with deeply relatable lyrics about the exhaustion of the world today set to undeniably boppy beat.

It’s currently a small but perfectly formed tour with Sydney being the *cough* first cab off the rank, followed quickly by Melbourne and Brisbane.

Tour dates:

  • Thursday 12 November – Hordern Pavillion, Sydney
  • Friday 13 November – Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne
  • Sunday 15 November – Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane
