When I spoke with Ben and James Johnston in September, they were adamant that Australia was definitely “on the list” for tour dates. True to their word, today Biffy Clyro have announced their return to Australia in April next year.
The Futique Tour lands in Melbourne on Tuesday, 7 April, then Sydney on Wednesday, 8 April, and finishes in Brisbane on Thursday, 9 April. At this stage, there looks to be just the three east-coast dates, presumably much to the disappointment of destinations to the west, and our friends across the Tasman, but given we have been devoid of shirtless Scottish rock since April 2018, this announcement of Australian dates is welcomed with open arms. Can’t wait to be singing and bouncing in the same space again at long last.
