Radio Free Alice are currently tearing it up in the UK. They are on a massive tour, with more than twenty shows in the UK sold out, as well as shows in New York, Canada, as well as appearances at the famed Reading and Leeds festivals on the immediate horizon, as well as Shaky Knees in Atlanta.
They came to Liverpool last night and were in top form. It was great to hear their latest singles, “Empty Words” and my favourite, “Toyota Camry”, before their next EP, Empty Words, is released next week. It was a very hot and sweaty show, with temperatures outside around 30 degrees celcius, and no aircon – let’s face it – it’s rarely needed in the UK – it was absolutely roasting. This didn’t deter the punters – they were up for it, and the band delivered.
