The National Indigenous Arts Awards ceremony will be held at the Sydney Opera House this evening, with many talented names set to be recognised for their achievements and contributions to the arts industry. Kahl Wallis, known for his work with The Medics and also The Painted Ladies, will be one of the individuals to be honoured at this year's event, as he will be awarded the 'Dreaming Award' for 2015 - a $20,000 prize to be used in the creation of a major body of work. It's a massive opportunity for any artist and an exciting one at that, and those who have followed Wallis' creative journey thus far will agree that the Dreaming Award has an incredibly deserved recipient for sure this year.

Music giants Drake and Beyonce have once again linked up on a track called "Can I" which has been teasing the internet for days, with snippets galore on almost every major media outlet's front page. The full version has leaked now, and it's delivers on that promise of slicked back Drake swagger mixed with the occasional pop-in from Beyonce who sadly doesn't have much of a presence here. There's a smooth verse sung by singer Sal Houdini that blends in well with the two industry megastars.

Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga release collaboration "PARTYNAUSEOUS"

"PARTYNAUSEOUS" was supposed to be a hit collaboration between Compton emcee Kendrick Lamar and pop megastar Lady Gaga, bringing a radio-friendly vibe to Lamar's 2012 hit Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, however it was scrapped at the last minute. 3 years later, a full version has emerged and although it quite obviously hasn't been mastered, and leaves no question as to why it was scrapped (Lady Gaga is terrible on it), it gives us two full verses from Kendrick and a solid beat to vibe to.

Husky relocating to Berlin to record 'Ruckers Hill' follow up album!

Husky will be relocating to Europe to capitalise on the momentum clearly generating for the release of Ruckers Hill over in the international territories. With European tour dates already set to take the Melbourne band overseas, they've decided not to come home this time around, base themselves in Berlin and write some new material for album number three.

Today marked the first day of the 10th annual All That Matters conference in Singapore - a three day event which takes over the Ritz Carlton for talks on Music, Video, Sponsorship, Sync and Live Events. The first day kicked off with special panels highlighting the music industries in India, Indonesia, Australia (pictured above) and Taiwan. A common thread sat amongst many of the talks throughout the day was that of collaboration and partnerships being integral in industry success.

'Remedy No. 5' - Nepal Earthquake aid event to be held in Melbourne on May 10th!

In the wake of the terrible events happening in Nepal, many have been orchestrating ways of sending their support and donations to those in need. One such event set up to raise funds for the relief effort is being held by Melbourne's electro music community in 'Remedy No. 5'. All the proceeds raised will be going towards Melbourne NGO The Big Umbrella, Learning Planet, a non-for-profit organisation working on ground in Kathmandu Valley and also Tashi Yams, a Kathmandu resident assisting in local aid support.
