On the last day of recording their third album The Plot Against Common Sense, Falco from Future Of The Left discussed their upcoming journey to Australia with Larry Heath. The trip was designed to be an album tour, but they fell behind schedule and the record is now set to be released in February 2012.

In addition to their already announced performance at Meredith Music Festival, lovers of garage rock will rejoice at the news that Mudhoney will tour Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Hobart this December. This will be their 6th journey to Australia throughout their triumphant 23 year career.
The 21st Meredith Music Festival is now sold out. Demand for tickets was as strong, if not stronger, than ever. Ballot sales closed Tuesday 30 August. Store sales sold out on the morning of Thursday September 1. There were people camping out overnight in front of some of the stores. Meredith staff were on hand throughout the early morning to make sure nobody lined up unnecessarily, to direct people to other stores and to hand out free coffee to people in each line. Online sales happened today Friday 2 September and took less than 30 minutes to sell through the allocation.
The Most Dynamic Crack Squad Of Sonic Mavericks Yet Assembled in The Supernatural will unfurl every feasible flavour of four-dimensional hi-fidelic psychedelic fun, over three daze and two nites in an extravaganza befitting this landmark occasion.

Some of you are probably scratching your heads and asking yourselves, what is a lunar eclipse?

The Ballot to Meredith’s 21st is now open. Yes it’s her 21st birthday. And one of the greatest anythings on the planet Grinderman will be playing.

Meredith have announced the full lineup for 2010, and it's as follows (new bands in bold):
In an announcement that should surprise no one: THE 20th MEREDITH IS NOW SOLD OUT. Throw in an amazing lineup with the fact that the thing always sells out super quick fast, it was inevitable :) - We're super excited about Clipse by the way.
Here's the press release from the lovely Aunty Meredith:
Ah, Meredith time approaches for another year. And now here’s most of the lineup! In the press release they said: "We are beyond proud of this one – it’s über-appropriate for The 20th Meredith: Grand, Pirate and Fun." You know what? We couldn't agree more.
Honora Crosbie recently had a chance to chat with one half of the San Diego duo Crocodiles, Brandon Welchez, who opened up about his past, his influences, and how journalists don't seem to know as much about the band as they often claim they do.
