It seems to be mother nature’s tradition to always ensure that Future Music Festival in Brisbane is as wet, rainy and muddy as possible. Future 2013 was no disappointment and it was with poncho in hand, woeful visions of sludge and a heart as heavy as the rain that I set off.

Madchester legends, The Stone Roses, have made many Australian fans' year by announcing that, along with their appearance at the 2013 Future Music Festival, they'll be performing three very special headline dates of their own. Undoubtedly one of the most influential British bands ever, The Stone Roses have gone on to influence many musicians of today, whilst still powering on with their own trademark sound.

The line up for the 2013 Future Music Festival has been released and as it promised, it's Dead Set Awesome. Past Future guests and some of the world's hottest acts in trance, electro, rock and pop will be making the journey down under for the national festival next year, raising the bar for the Future Music Festival once more.

Future Entertainment have announced today that Mercury Prize nominated grime king Tinie Tempah, and drum n bass and dubstep duo Chase and Status are set to play three special UK flavoured solo shows during the Future Music Festival tour! Completing this powerhouse bill is the one co-headliners Chase and Status describe as “The voice of our generation”, Zane Lowe.
