JEBEDIAH ANNOUNCE DYNAMITE SUPPORTS
Violent Soho join the Kosciuszko Album Tour

Day Four of Canadian Music Week
After 3 days of some amazing music, excellent panels and the usual networking opportunities, it was time to bid farewell to our time in Toronto*. But today it was Australia’s turn to truly shine, with its annual Aussie BBQ showcase.
St Jerome's Laneway Festival takes over the Perth Cultural Centre for its 2011 installment.
I have a real love/hate relationship with festivals. Festivals can be great when the vibe is right, the bands look like they want to be there, the weather is nice etc etc. But they can also be terrible for just as many reasons. So on the morning of 11 February 2011, things weren’t looking good for Adelaide’s Laneway Festival when a massive downpour hit at about 11am.

Man was not meant for this heat. That is all I can think as I down a couple of preparatory pints at The Jubilee Hotel, before making my way over to the festival grounds. A beautiful day it is, but golly, it's hot.

Brisbane thrash rockers Violent Soho have spent most of 2010 living every suburban garage band’s dream. Based in Brooklyn, NYC for the bulk of the year, they have toured the globe, played Lollapalooza, Splendour in the Grass & Great Escape festivals, and undertaken back to back tours with The Bronx, Dinosaur Jr and Built To Spill.
