
I had been eagerly checking the Hi-Fi Bar website over the week leading up to this gig, in a desperate attempt to find out who exactly "+ guests" were in support of headliner Tortoise. Upon my seemingly premature arrival, I noticed the guests were both esteemed bands in their own rights, laying the foundation for an exceptional spectacle.

This is Nowhere is inviting you to wander through pine trees, beverage in hand and have your sonic perception expanded. With two more acts announced for christening of this new festival at the University of Western Australia. Already joining Tortoise and Xiu Xiu are Japanese indie avant-garde the Tenniscoats and American Holy Suns.

The This Is Nowhere Festival, set to be held on the University of Western Australia's campus this October, has just released the full line up. We'd already reported the first round of artists to appear earlier this year, but now we can bring the full line up to you!

Come October 14, WA residents can expect a new music festival to take place at the University of Western Australia. This Is Nowhere will be showcasing some intriguing and exciting bands, both local and international, across three stages on the Crawley campus. The bands vary in exposure and genre, some are underground, whilst others will be more familiar to the audiences - either way, punters are in for a smorgasbord of music.
