Billed to play the Small World Festival in Sydney in September, and just about to head out on tour in the States, we found out a little bit more about their new album, touring, and their plans for their Small World Festival slot.

Primavera Sound has, for another year, got us wanting to pack our bags for a Spanish getaway this May! For its 15th year, the epic music festival will be bringing together the likes of The Strokes, Patti Smith, The Black Keys, Sleater-Kinney and more to celebrate in Barcelona. While a lot of the bands featured on this year's Primavera line up you'll note as having visited Australia over the past 12 months or are perhaps set to come out this way, the calibre of bands on this bad boy is just ridiculous good.

The first round of bands and speakers have been announced for SXSW 2015! The Texan music festival and conference has also outlined some of their planned conference programme for next year, which looks set to be providing some great sessions for those holding Music passes.

The Church announce October and November live shows to support the release of "Further/Deeper"!

A band who certainly doesn't need any explaining or introduction has to be The Church. One of the highlights of BIGSOUND 2014, the Australian music icons have announced further details of their upcoming 25th studio record and the following run of live dates which will see the new band line up bringing it to life. Further/Deeper, set for an October 17th release, sees The Church record with new member Ian Haug - of Powderfinger fame - and will have fans reconnecting with the band musically like never before. The Church will be performing the album in full through the October/November tour, so don't miss your opportunity to witness it!

The Australian music industry rallies behind Support Act and the launch of the 'BANDWAGON' fundraising drive!

Launched officially at Allans Billy Hyde's Melbourne store was the 'BANDWAGON' fundraising drive by Support Act. The crowd funding appeal run via Pozible aims to raise $100,000 for Australian music industry charity. Support Act, which provides financial relief to music professionals facing illness, injury or other life crises, has helped members in all different fields from singers, songwriters, roadies, techies and more. Helping launch 'BANDWAGON' in Melbourne today were Ian 'Molly' Meldrum, Hannah Findlay (Stonefield), Ian Haug (The Church, Powderfinger), Steve Kilbey (The Church), Eric McCusker (Mondo Rock), Keith Potger and Bruce Woodley (The Seekers).
