
Triple J’s Hottest 100 is one of the most anticipated countdowns of each year. It tends to have something for everyone – representing the year in music. 2011’s Hottest 100 was, of course, no exception and features a variety of songs from a vast range of genres and artists/bands. The annual two disc CD release, Triple J’s Hottest 100 Vol. 19 is a 41 track compilation, featuring a selection of the songs that made the top 100 – and a stellar compilation at that.

Seeker Lover Keeper tour rolled into Melbourne for two sold out shows at St Michael's. Non-Saint Michael Christian went along for confessional and to also take some photos of the trio and their support act, Mr. Henry Wagons.


Heavenly Sounds is a new initiative to place beautiful contemporary music in Churches and Cathedrals around Australia. In its first effort, the organisers sent Seeker Lover Keeper and special guests on a tour of 12 such venues around the country, selling out every show along the way. Tonight we found ourselves a third of the way through the journey, with the second and final performance at Sydney's St. Stephen's Uniting Church on Macquarie Street.

Every Tuesday on ABC2, triple j presents will give you front row seats to some of the hottest gigs in town. The series kicks off tonight with Cut Copy taking their synths and strobes to the massive Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.

We saw some amazing local and interntional talent hit the stages of Splendour in the Grass on Saturday. In the first batch of photos we take a look at local heroes Architecture in Helsinki, Seeker Lover Keeper, Sparkadia and The Jezabels alongside international guests Cut Off Your Hands, Dananananaykroyd, Fitz and the Tantrums, Regina Spektor and the one and only Jane's Addiction.
