
It was over ten years ago that Mat McHugh mustered up some mates to help lock down some demo's in attempt to get a girls attention. Suddenly the northern beaches surfer was riding a wave of momentum, resulting in the birth of the band, The Beautiful Girls. Throughout the last ten years the band has released four studio albums, Learn Yourself (2003), We're Already Gone(2005), Ziggurats (2007) and Spooks (2010) and toured the states, japan, canada, brazil and good old Australia.

Kicking off with a showcase at Splendour in the Grass this weekend, The Beautiful Girls are set to embark on a farewell tour (Dates Here). Larry caught up with the band's lead singer Mat McHugh to talk about his solo career, the tour, the decision to call The Beautiful Girls a day and a look back at the last ten years with the band...

DAVID MYLES ON TOUR WITH CAMILLE & STUIE UNTIL NEXT WEEK
Canadian singer songwriter David Myles is currently in the country with Australian duo Camille & Stuie, taking his rhythmic sounds to venues across the board. Myles met the duo on his last tour of Australia and was so enamoured with Camille & Stuie's acoustic power that he promised to enlist them to support him on his next time back! RAP CITY ANNOUNCES KILLAH PRIEST & LOCAL SUPPORT ACTS TO THE LINE UP
Killah Priest, longtime associate of the Wu-Tang Clan, has been added to the 2012 Rap City line up. Set to appear alongside Ghostface Killah, DOOM and Chino XL, Priest is an excellent addition to an already stellar cast of hip-hop icons.
