This week, we're excited to present a special playlist from bassist and vocalist Tyler Richardson of Tasmanian rockers Luca Brasi, who are currently on tour around Australia celebrating the release of their Loose Threads 7" EP. He has chosen five of his favourite songs for the special show, plus one of his band's own.

British rock band, You Me At Six has just announced a 2015 Australian tour. The band will be making four stops across the country with Tasmanian punk-rock group, Luca Brasi, who will accompany You Me At Six for three out of four dates. Having just sold out shows at London’s Wembley Arena and around the world, You Me At Six’s Australian dates are expected to be no exception. Get your tickets on March 5 at 9AM before they’re gone. Taking place over two stages, the gig will be raising much needed money for Oxfam and The Refugee Council of Australia – previous events have raised over $25,000 for important causes and next year’s event will be no different. Live Review: Heroes For Hire + Luca Brasi + Carry Me Home + Breakaway - Oxford Art Factory (06.07.12)

Who said pop punk is dead? Well, judging by the crowd at 9pm last Friday at the Oxford Art Factory it was certainly critical. A small crowd had entered by the time the first band packed away their gear and Breakaway had set up. I guess it's not that cool to show up early to a punk gig.
