
Melbourne's progressive heavy music scene is in fine form in 2012 and how better to celebrate than to combine the force of three of its finest on an impressive triple bill. This March, longstanding genre leaders Twelve Foot Ninja and Jericco will be joined by newcomers, Circles on the national 'Swarm Tour'.

I go to Adelaide Uni, therefore it’s only natural that I spend a good deal of my time in the Unibar. So when I rocked up on a Wednesday night to find it completely packed out with people, I was more than slightly surprised. Tonight we all gathered for Brisbane rockers Dead Letter Circus, who are currently on their way around the country on their No Fracking Way Tour.

With increasingly popular headliners Jericco, this night at Mulgrave's Village Green Hotel hosted a perfect mesh of talented upcoming Melbourne bands.


The Come Together Festival has always been an interesting idea that
suffers from somewhat of an identity crisis. It's tried to appease
everyone from punks to dance-loving kids on wizz, and despite
consistent ticket sales it has never solidified a reputation as a
remarkable festival.
