Live Review: Southbound Festival - Day Two (08.01.12)

Whilst the first day of the festival had its undeniable highlights and a number of memorable music moments, it became clear fairly early in the day that the second day wasn’t going to disappoint either. Whether it be discovering new bands, insane dance circles, or enjoying an ice cold cider whilst listening to some great folk music, there was something for everyone on the final day of the festival.

In 1986 The Bridge School was founded, in a bid to create a school and learning environment suitable for the teaching of children with complex communication needs. In 1986 the first Bridge School Benefit was organised; however unlike other school fundraising drives this benefit was a bit different. It was organised by music legend Neil Young and featured a few of his fellow colleagues.

New Music Video: Fleet Foxes - The Shrine / An Argument

Fleet Foxes have had an amazing 2011. They're on tour in Europe as we speak, continuing the ongoing celebration of their sophomore album Helplessness Blues, which was released to critical acclaim in May. They'll be in Australia over New Years, too!

But it doesn't stop there. In anticipation of a new limited edition 12", They've just released an incredible 8-minute animation to their epic track "The Shrine / An Argument", directed by Sean Pecknold. Enjoy!
