City Riots - Matchsticks (2011 EP)

Matchsticks is the third EP and most recent release from South Australian boys City Riots. Since their formation in 2006, City Riots have toured with the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, The Academy Is... and are about to embark on an East Coast tour with Gyroscope just in time for the release of Matchsticks.

The Get Up Kids + City Riots + Between The Devil And The Deep - Metro Theatre (06.08.11)

I caught the end of Between The Devil And The Deep’s set. The mixture of punk with screamo/hardcore leanings. Their songs were aggressive and the singer had the presence of a caged tiger pacing the stage awaiting to attack.
