Proving again why it is regarded as one of the biggest and best music festivals on the globe, the line up for Glastonbury 2013 has delivered the goods once more. Confirming months of rumours and speculation, The Rolling Stones are set to headline the Saturday night slot at the festival, with the creme de la creme of popular music also set to grace the UK music gathering.
Perth boys Tame Impala are just one of the many amazing acts set to perform at this year's Open'r Festival! From July 3 through to July 6, Gdynia in Poland will be hosting a slew of international music talent, fuelling rumours of possible performances by certain acts *coughBlurcough* at a certain Australian festival *coughSplendourcough*.
Already into the second half of the year and what a month it was!
1. Big Day Out 2013 line-up announcement
The countdown to the countdown was beginning as the festival warmed up for the day. I was hurting all over; my body hated me for not protecting it from the dangers of the sun and the liquor. But it was New Year’s Eve, so there was no other option but to suck it up and get back amongst it. Gossling was the perfect welcome back to the real world, with her soft, brooding yet heartening and peaceful tunes on the Valley Stage.
The fourth and final day of the Falls Festival gets off to a hot start. Kimbra and The Grates are popular on the Valley Stage, while Arj Barker and 360 (pictured above) are crowd favorites on the Grand Theatre. Arctic Monkeys bring in the New Year and despite some confusion about the countdown everyone welcomes 2012 with group hugs and sparklers.
We return with the next batch of our favourite albums of 2011...
Arctic Monkeys - Suck It and See
"Arctic Monkeys can do no wrong. Seriously. Even with a slightly more chilled out album than previous ones, it still rocks my socks." - Karina Carroll
The Frontier Touring Company is thrilled to announce the return of ARCTIC MONKEYS to Australian shores. While in town for the Falls and Southbound Festivals the indie rock favourites will play headline shows in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. This will be the band’s third Australian tour and their first since 2009.

Well amigos let us begin, just a taste of this year’s line-up, enough to start you dreaming of long hot summer days and those magic summer nights at The Falls Music & Arts Festival ……
It was not too long ago that Arctic Monkeys were the quintessential indie band and the very mention of them would get hipsters all gooey. Somewhere between the release of their second and third album the hype surrounding them quietened and even though Humbug was well-received the name Arctic Monkeys was lost amongst a bunch of new ‘it’ bands.
Happy Music Video Monday! We get quite a lot of music videos here at the AU review, so we thought we'd start putting together a weekly article to ensure that you see all the fun stuff we're getting to watch!
