the AU interview: Allen Stone (Washington)

Is it possible to fall in love over the phone? I'm not sure, but by the time I was finished speaking with American soul musician Allen Stone, there were definitely butterflies aflutter. Coming back to Byron Bay for Bluesfest next year, the 26 year old will return to an undoubtedly larger crowd, having wowed Australians on his first journey over here for the festival this year. Very humbly, Stone talks about his new touring life, writing for album number two (his self-titled debut was released in 2012) and how comparisons to Stevie Wonder and Prince freak him out.
