NGAIIRE, Tired Lion, The Belligerents and more fill out the 2015 BIGSOUND Live roster!

BIGSOUND has indeed lived up to its name once again this year, with the addition of over 100 new names to its live showcase roster! The full 150-strong list of artists from Australia and beyond have been confirmed today, with the likes of NGAIIRE, Fraser A. Gorman, Tired Lion, The Belligerents and more joining the already announced crew featuring Cosmic Psychos, Gang of Youths and City Calm Down.

The Grates, Sheppard, DZ Deathrays, Airling and more announced as Queensland Music Awards finalists!

The Queensland Music Awards are coming around again for another year, with QMusic announcing the list of finalists selected for the 2015 awards. Over 40 judges from Australia and abroad have been listening to a whole range of music from Queensland artists and as the final list dictates, the diversity within the music community in this part of the country is well represented.

Sweden's Adept to tour Australia with A Breach Of Silence

In support of their recently released Silence The World LP, Swedish metal band Adept are coming to Australia for the first time in October. They will be supported by Brisbane's A Breach Of Silence at each of the dates.

Born of Osiris made the trip down under to Melbourne with Upon A Burning Corpse for a night of screaming deathcore, which wasn't complete without the wall of death and American dollar bills being strewn into the crowd. Tonight's show at Sydney's Hi-Fi in Moore Park attracted a motley crew of metal heads ranging from the more traditional long-haired, black-clad fan to the latest in trend-conscious, stretched ear lobe wearing guys. Such is the appeal of Born of Osiris; a band with a decade-long history of blending numerous heavy genres to form a cohesive and brutal style of technical death metal.

A Breach of Silence announce QLD Tour Dates

Brisbane five-piece A BREACH OF SILENCE emerges from the Brisbane Metal Scene ready to unleash their brutal melodic music with audiences on the east coast before heading in to the recording studio to begin work on their debut album.

The lyrics interpret the depth of this emerging metal core band and new front man Corey Staples (previously “A Fallen Memory”) is screaming the lullabies that make metal brutal to all ears that dare to listen.
