Wreck-It Ralph sequel announced

The return of former bad guy turned hero Wreck-It Ralph has been announced in an untitled sequel slated for March 2018.

While details of the plot are mostly unknown, early details reveal that this time Wreck-It Ralph will be wrecking the Internet.

The Oscar-nominated Walt Disney Animation Studios team from the original film have added director Rich Moore (Zootopia) and producer Clark Spencer (Zootopia).

The original film’s scriptwriter Phil Johnston is set to write the new script following his success on ZootopiaJohn C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman are also set to return as Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz.

Wreck-It Ralph director Rich Moore and screenwriter Phil Johnston made the announcement via a Facebook Live video on the Disney page. Wreck-It Ralph protagonist, John C. Reilly was there for the unveiling, wearing imitation Ralph hands and saying;

“We are announcing Wreck-It Ralph? But I already announced that by accident,”
