Exclusive to Foxtel, this new documentary series follows the journey of Australian radio presenter and avid couch potato, Gus Worland as he attempts to transform himself into a lean, mean marathon man in time for the New York marathon.

The Happenings, Ch. 7, 9:45 pm AEST

Using their talents in magic, misdirection and suggestion, illusionists Barry and Stuart masterfully trick the residents of Stamford, England into believing their little town is undergoing an alien attack. It may seem a little cruel, but I bet this show will be wildly entertaining.

Friday:

Sex Workers and Proud!, SBS 2, 10:15 pm AEST

Examining the array of arguments surrounding the controversial profession of prostitution, this special program is a must-see for anyone that wants something novel and fresh to talk about on Monday morning.

Saturday:

Drive, SBS, 10 pm AEST

Drive is one of those films that has it all. Cool cars, a mysterious leading male (Ryan Gosling), an exhilarating plot and to top it all off, one of the sleekest soundtracks this side of the Reagan administration. What more could you want?

Sunday:

Blackfish, ABC 2, 8:32 pm AEST

Whilst childhood favourite Free Willy may still have you believing that killer whales are a friendly race, this controversial documentary puts these misconceptions to rest. Focusing on the notorious killer whale Tilikum, Blackfish exposes the devastating consequences of keeping such intelligent creatures in captivity.

Cold Case JFK, SBS, 9:30 pm AEST

It’s been nearly 51 years since president John F Kennedy was gunned down in the streets of Texas, yet this crime has still not been put to justice. Using state-of-the-art forensic technology, this new documentary follows a fresh investigation that attempts to put the pieces of the puzzle together from a new, modern perspective.
