#TweetTheBeat Unites Twitter, Music and Television

Television meets Twitter in the new show Tweet the Beat, a collaboration between [V] HITS and Twitter Australia, which is set to launch on Monday May 16.

The show will run from 4pm – 5pm on Foxtel every weekday, and offers a platform for viewers to tweet about their favourite music, and the best tweets will be selected to feature on the program.

Tweet the Beats will also show performances from the Twitter #BlueRoom, interviews with artists, live tweets from popular artists, gig updates, live polls, and more.

“We’re handing it over to our audience to share what’s meaningful to them and express themselves using Twitter and [V] HITS as a stage in which to do so – it’s immediate, multi-platform and most of all, it’s fun!”, says Rebecca Batties, Foxtel Music Channels General Manager.

For updates, follow @channelvhits and @TwitterAU and use the hashtag #TweetTheBeat to share your favourite songs, memes, and gossip.
