Tickets on sale for screenings of 2016 Lexus Short Film Fellowship recipients

Tickets are set to be released today for the world-premiere screenings of recipients of the 2016 Lexus Short Film Fellowship.

In partnership with the Sydney Film Festival, the short films will be shown at an exclusive screening and throughout the Festival itself in mid-June.

This year’s filmmakers and respective short films include Anya Beyersdorf (How the Light Gets In), Brooke Goldfinch (Outbreak Generation), Alex Ryan (Red Ink) and Alex Murawski (Snow).

The Fellowship is a $50,000 grant received to film-makers to make their film, after a judging process by Australian actress Judy Davis.

Sydney Film Festival Director Nashen Moodley stated that “…The Fellows have proved to be of the highest calibre of emerging Australian talent. They have taken risks, tried new techniques and ideas, and given voice to their stories. We hope many people join us at the Festival to see their films”

The films will exclusively screen at Dendy Opera Quays on Tuesday 13 June 6pm, as well as during the Festival itself from 7-18 June.
