The Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 30th Birthday Bash will arrive on Foxtel in June

Foxtel has announced that it will broadcast the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 30th Birthday Bash as a six-part series, made exclusively for The Comedy Channel.

The comedy festival hosted by Tommy Little was filmed last Friday in front of a live audience at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre.

Each episode will be made up of a selection taken from the Birthday Bash performances, including stars  such as Cal Wilson, Wil Anderson, Judith Lucy, Rod Quantock, Gerry Connolly, Rachel Berger, Simon Munnery, Luke McGregor, Eddie Perfect, Wendy Harmer, Rich Hall, Greg Fleet, The Umbilical Brothers and Nina Conti.

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival has hosted thousands of local and international performers over the past 30 years, and has become one of the most highly acclaimed comedy festivals in the world.

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 30th Birthday Bash will come to Foxtel’s The Comedy Channel in June 2016.
