Supanova’s Going To Need A Bigger Boat for Sydney and Perth 2018 shows

Just as we’re about to launch into the first pop culture conventions for the year in Australia, Supanova Comic Con and Gaming have continued to expand their lineup for their Sydney and Perth shows in June.

Opting to add a couple of Hollywood heavyweights to the lineup in Richard Dreyfuss, Kathleen Turner and Ian McDiarmid. Dreyfuss is best known for some seminal classics in Jaws and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and more recently the tv series Shots Fired. Turner was an 80’s and 90’s starlet in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Romancing The Stone and The War of the Roses but also had a recent resurgence with tv series Californication. Whilst McDiarmid is best known as evil Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars but also starred in Sleepy Hollow and The Lost City of Z.

Joining them and the previously announced Stephen Amell, will be fellow Arrow-verse star Juliana Harkavy who plays Dinah Drake and Summer Glau who plays Isabel Rochev (and was also in Firefly). And also from the DC/CW slate of shows is Constantine himself, Matt Ryan on his first convention trip to Australia, also off the back of the announcement as joining the Legends Of Tomorrow cast as a series regular for Season 4.

Netflix Marvel fans will also get their share of both Finn Jones (Iron Fist, The Defenders) and also the night nurse Claire Temple herself Rosario Dawson. And the kick ass women don’t stop there with lead star of The 100, Eliza Taylor also on the guest list.

Joining the two previously announced voice actors – Troy Baker and Nolan North – will also be Elizabeth Maxwell (Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, Attack on Titan), and Kara Berle (RWBY).

The pop culture and gaming event will be held across two separate weekends in June:
Sydney: Friday 15th – Sunday 17th June 2018 @ Sydney Showgrounds
Perth: Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th June 2018 @ Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre

Tickets for the event are already on sale via Moshtix, for more information check out the Supanova Comic Con and Gaming website or their social media channels.
