Supanova Comic Con & Gaming gets SUPER-powered with more guests for April tour

As we all slowly start to settle into 2018 and get ready for another year of film, television, games and all things pop culture the team at Supanova Comic Con and Gaming have gone and stirred things up with a sizeable guest announcement for their forthcoming events in Melbourne and the Gold Coast in April.

Late last year they dropped the huge news of having not only Peter Capaldi but also John Barrowman and Pearl Mackie on the guest list. So things were looking very good for those Whovians out there. But now fans of all things SUPER and super-hero based will get to revel in some more guests.

Topping the list of names joining our Doctor Who alums are Tom Welling, Alan Tudyk, and Elizabeth Henstridge.
Welling is best known for playing the teenage Clark Kent in the Superman-origin series Smallville but you can now see him starring in supernatural-meets-police-procedural show Lucifer.
Tudyk has popped onto Supanova lineups before but it’s been a little while since his last visit. He’s a genre and character and voice actor, from piloting the good ship Firefly to voicing the sassiest robot in the galaxy K2SO in Rogue One and Hei-Hei the rooster in Moana and spoofing himself in Con Man.
Henstridge plays one half of the dynamic science duo of FitzSimmons (she plays the Simmons bit) on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which is currently charging through its fifth season.

Joining these film and television stars are some of the voice acting world’s best, including Stephanie Nadolny (Dragon Ball Z), Todd Haberkorn (Souleater) as well as Anjali Bhimani and Carolina Ravassa (both from Overwatch). And for lovers of comics there are also some superstars with Tom Taylor, Jon Sommariva, David Yardin and Dean Rankine just a few of those who put pencil and pen to paper.
Whilst speaking of writing there are also a number of excellent authors showcasing their works of fiction such as Maria Lewis, Lynette Noni, Keri Arthur, Corey J White and Victoria Aveyard.

The pop culture and gaming event will be held across two separate weekends:
Melbourne – April 21 – 22 2018 – Melbourne Showgrounds
Gold Coast – April 28 – 29 2018 – Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre
