Hot off the heels of their expanding guest list for their Melbourne and Gold Coast events in April, Supanova Comic Con and Gaming have gone and jumped the gun on revealing some of the names of those that will be dropping by their events in June. Supanova are renowned for bringing film and television guests to their shows and the Sydney and Perth ones in particular usually draw some of the best names due to its timing in the middle of year, our winter but a northern hemisphere summer.

Their first big announcement came from the Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell via a personalised Facebook video. Unfortunately due to him having to officiate a friend’s wedding though he won’t be attending Perth. Amell has long been a fan favourite and one that is often very high on the request list due to the popularity of Arrow, which is now in it’s sixth season.
Another small screen favourite is the Immortal Iron Fist himself Finn Jones, who was supposed to swing by last year but had to cancel due to scheduling issues. Now with both the first seasons of Marvel’s Iron Fist and Marvel’s The Defenders and Game Of Thrones under his belt.
Also joining these small screen superheroes are a couple of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers in David Yost and Karan Ashly.

Besides film and television though, another huge component of the pop culture scene is video games. And you can’t go past some of the best known video games without the voice acting royalty of both Nolan North and Troy Baker. North is best known as Uncharted’s Nathan Drake and Desmond Miles in Assassin’s Creed. Whilst Baker has been kept busy with roles in The Last Of Us, Bioshock Infinite and Arkham Origins to name a few.
And also from the wonderful world of voice acting will be Vic Mignogna (Fullmetal Alchemist), Trina Nishimura (Attack On Titan) and Brina Palencia (Dragon Ball Z).

The pop culture and gaming event will be held across two separate weekends in June:
Sydney – Friday 15th – Sunday 17th June 2018 – Sydney Showgrounds
Perth – Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th June 2018 – Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre

Entry pass tickets for the Sydney and Perth events are already on sale via Moshtix.
Stay tuned to Supanova Comic Con and Gaming’s website and social media channels for more guest announcements in the coming months.
