Razer launches new live streaming software Razer Cortex: Gamecaster

Razer has announced the launch of new live streaming software for gamers, the Razer Cortex: Gamecaster, a program that will allow uses to easily record and stream their gameplay to networks like Azubu, Twitch and YouTube Live.

The Gamecaster features all essential broadcasting tools and settings a streamer will ever need through an unobtrusive on-screen overlay, hiding out of view when not in use, with quick access hot-key support.

There are two versions of the Razer Cortex: Gamecaster available within the Razer Cortex software:

In the free version, gamers will be able to broadcast without watermarks at resolutions of up to 720p. Streaming above 720p is also available, but users will have a discrete Razer watermark appearing on their broadcast.

The paid Pro license will include advanced premium features, with higher quality and lower impact streaming with the x264 codec, on-screen annotations and Twitch chat tools. The Pro subscription will be sold in 3 and 12 month licenses.
